M&M Support Solutions can now offer Short-Term Accommodation Assist for NDIS participants.
We offer fun activities and support in home or away from home. Carers and families have the opportunity to take a break with the reassurance of knowing their family member is being supported in an enjoyable and safe environment.
Flexible stays:
We design our short-term accommodation services to make the NDIS participant feel as comfortable and settled as possible. A stay can be as short as one 24hour period. Stays of one to three nights help everyone become familiar with the service. Longer stays can be negotiated for circumstances such as a family holiday or carer illness.
We have a small team of specialised Support Workers who are able to provide capacity building support work, counselling, mentoring and personal care support. The support we provide will be by the same staff member from start to finish of the Short-Term Accommodation Assist. Our aim is to incorporate as much skill development and capacity building, within the participant’s capabilities, during the period of time spent in Short-Term Accommodation Assist.
Where is it available?
We offer short-term pre-planned and emergency accommodation that can be in the participant’s home, at the carer’s home or in a variety of community settings – rural, city or coast – depending on individual needs of the participant.
